Synopsis
ADWAR is a 3D animated short film developed by S. M. Monowar Kayser and Tonmoy Baroi. It tells the story of a rover named ADWAR. This rover embarks on a journey to discover a new planet, which serves as a metaphor for a unique aspect of human existence. Along the way, ADWAR encounters a companion rover, CK-32. However, ADWAR abruptly loses this companionship and reverts back to its solitary existence. Despite this, ADWAR continues to move forward and ultimately gains new insights. The primary aim of this film is to inspire our younger generation, who are often prone to feelings of despair. Life has its own flavor, and one must keep progressing to fully savor the wonder of existence.

“ADWAR” is a harmonious echo of both “Eco-Visions” and “Untold Stories.” It weaves the narrative of a rover, ADWAR, a hero often unseen in conventional tales, with the environmental narratives of the future. As ADWAR explores an alien planet, it becomes a potent metaphor for the unique, yet often overlooked aspects of human life.
In its journey, ADWAR stumbles upon CK-32, another rover, only to experience the abrupt end of this newfound bond. This touching incident mirrors the struggles of those who are underrepresented, their stories often left untold. The incident mirrors the changing landscapes and ecological challenges of our own planet.
At its core, “ADWAR” shatters norms and defies conventions, illuminating powerful stories and unsung heroes, with a backdrop of an imagination for our ecological futures, thus perfectly capturing the essence of both “Eco-Visions” and “Untold Stories” themes.
